Stepping Outside Article: What can patience do for me?
I’ve been working very hard to tuck in the corners, cover all the bases and make Soul Kisses the very best it can be. As in any new endeavor it has had quite the priority. In my frenzied excitement to share it with others, I lost sight of the fact that this is God’s project. I made it mine, and productivity and creativity turned to frustration. My friends and family (including my child) gently reminded me that Soul Kisses will happen in ‘God’s time’. When I failed to respond to gentle nudges from loved ones, my Angels strongly reminded me this is God’s project: allow it to happen in God’s time.

It took a strong Angel scolding to get my attention. I handed Soul Kisses to God and tried not to take it back. Little did I realize the evolution I would experience in bringing to fruition God’s plan of Soul Kisses. In getting here today I had to learn patience. Not just the printed definition, but what it really is. What a surprise, because I thought I understood and practiced patience.

Webster’s Dictionary defines ‘patient’ as: “capable of bearing affliction, delay, etc., with calmness.” In discovering what patience really is, I have been blessed with contentment, peace, joy, satisfaction and amazing opportunities.

A physical world hurry brings obstacles, distress and frustration to anything we do. The practice of patience in our schedule allows God’s works to manifest in His time, plus provides opportunities that might otherwise have been missed. Patience allows us to step back and look at the Big Picture and shows us how to keep our ego out of the way of spirit so we work in God’s time. In looking at the Big Picture when confronted with an obstacle, the Angels give us clarity and wisdom to see solutions, opportunities and new ideas. I have discovered the phrase “it is, what it is”. These simple words let go of the heartburn, release the anxiety and dissipate frustration.

When you’re on track of any given project, even life itself, and you run into an obstacle, look at the Big Picture. I have found the key to ultimate happiness and success is to open my heart and my mind to allow the Angels to guide me to opportunities, solutions and new ideas - the miracles… to happen in God’s time… patience.

This month’s physical world tool is the Prayer Box. This is a container used to physically store your prayers; thereby anchoring them into this physical world. It can be anything; a cardboard box, a wooden box, a tin, even an envelope. 

In writing our prayers down on a piece of paper, we anchor it into the physical world – helping it to manifest. After writing the prayer, bless it, thank God and store it in the prayer box. Every so often go through the prayers. You will be amazed at how many have been answered...

This physical world tool has proven to be remarkably powerful.
