Welcome to the April 2nd Soul Kisses
Newsletter! My goal is to begin this month
sending out a newsletter on or about the first,
then again on or about the fifteenth. The Soul
Kisses newsletter is now a bimonthly newsletter.
Here in my part
of the planet I can finally put my bare foot to
grass and not fear frost bite! The snow is
melting, thank you, God!
As I longed for
the freshness of spring, I still savored the joy
of snowflakes falling in the last snow that we
had (last week). When the wind began to blow
and the snowflakes swirled and became a white
out, I was grateful for the warmth of my home.
In the feelings
of gratitude we live in the present moment -
experiencing what it is that we are grateful
for. An Attitude of Gratitude will change a
life. Changes occur on so many levels in so
many ways. In practicing gratitude for what we
have, we become a magnet for more of the
feelings of gratitude - good positive feelings
of abundance. We become a Magnet for
Abundance - and we live in the Moment...
We experience the
NOW of this moment in gratitude. The
stress, pain, confusion and chaos of the
physical world looses it's power to control us
and we are f.r.e.e. to be One with God.
...and the love
we feel overflows to all those we come into
contact with...
As we walk our
life path here in the physical world, we are not
alone. We are, in each moment of each day and
night a crowd of angels, guides, teachers and
loved ones who have transitioned. With the eyes
to see and the ears to hear we receive messages
of guidance from them. Sometimes the guidance
is in "angelic" form, sometimes in physical
world form. It is up to us to recognize the
guidance as such - to allow ourselves to receive
it and experience it.
| Dear Children,
I’m here for
you, and I will give you rest… I
will give you peace… I will give you
hope… I will give you comfort… I
will give you joy… I will give you
love… I will give you all you need
and more, for I am your supply. All
that is yours by divine right; I
will send to you under grace… Live
my teachings by being honest,
forgive others completely, give with
love in your heart, do not judge
others for their shoes fit
differently than yours and be
grateful for all you receive. Do
these things for yourself, and doors
filled with opportunities, blessings
and peace will be open to you.
Because in accomplishing these tasks
you will blossom as my child and
grow closer to me.
Open your heart to me. Allow
yourself to receive, instead of
stumbling around in the physical
world on your own. I am here for you
in the darkest of nights, the
brightest of days; in the sad,
painful and joyful of moments,
loving you for all time, for within
you… I live...
I know all that is within your heart
and understand clearly your heart’s
intent. Allow yourself to experience
your growth plan. I will provide to
you strength, tools, clarity and
wisdom to fulfill all if you allow.
No matter where you put yourself, I
will be with you always, for within
you… I live…
Breathe deeply,
sweet children, the essence of God.

As spiritual
beings, we are each One with God. Each one of
us is experiencing our own level of
understanding of who we are, what we are and the
All of God. God sends us tools to guide us in
our ascension. It is up to us to use the tools
and discern our true essence.
May each of you
reading this be profoundly blessed in this
moment and in every moment after...

The past few
months have been a spiritual growth spurt like
no other. OMG - I don't even look the same!! In

the book The Game of Life and How to Play it
by Florence Scovel Shinn. I questioned my
Master Teacher, Ezra, about whether I was ready
for such an undertaking. He told me not to
fret, just take the dictation and follow his and
my other guides' assistance. To my delight,
Florence even came in to help (she was wearing a
blue flannel dress - she had been talking to Big
Jim).
As I progressed
with the ecourse, books and people came to me to
help me understand what my guides were
channeling to me. It has, indeed, been an
amazing journey!
For those of you
who have read Florence's work, you know that it
is life changing. Once you read and understand
what she teaches, you cannot go back to living
the life you lived before. You are elevated to
a higher level of understanding, you begin
ascension in earnest, your spiritual journey is
jump started and is propelled to enlightenment
that blows the human part of you away...
The ecourse based
on Florence's teachings is both experiential and
interactive with exercises designed as catalysts
to catapult your spiritual journey. It includes
a support questionnaire after each session to
help you discern within yourself the truth of
the information you are gathering. After
completing the course, you will receive a
Certificate of Completion specially designed by
my Protector Guide, Chief Running Bear.
There are eleven
sessions to the ecourse. Each session is
received by email as a .pdf file every seven
days.
This is not an
ecourse for those faint of heart. You will
learn to look within to the essence of who you
are and discern not only what your life mission
is, but you will be introduced to steps to
remember who you truly are.

Message
from Big Jim
On March 18th I
went to the Denver Home and Garden Show. As I
strolled through the beautiful gardens, I took
pictures. When I reviewed the pictures at home
in a slideshow, some were clearly very dark.
One in particular caught my eye - although it
was dark, there was a familiar orb in it.

I opened
it in my PaintShop Pro 9 program and
enhanced the image with the "One Step
Photo Fix" feature. Immediately I
asked, "Daddy, is that you?" To which I
heard, in an unmistakable, laughing
voice, "You were taking
pictures..." |

On Friday, March
29, Fred rented a truck to take to Gypsum,
Colorado. Imagine my surprise when we were
given a red one. Actually it really isn't red,
it is RED.
Yes, that's about the color. Do you know how
many red trucks Enterprise carries? Not
many... Red is Big Jim's favorite color. On
the ride home after picking up the truck, Big
Jim told me he hopes Fred likes the truck. It
is his way of letting him know he is with him,
helping him to fulfill his full potential (see
March 2007 newsletter).
Fred's first
comment when I shared this with him was, "he
(Big Jim) likes to go fast doesn't he?"
Fred left for
Gypsum early Saturday morning. After watching
the news, I called him to tell him the
Eisenhower Tunnel was closed in one direction
and traffic was being diverted to the other
tunnel - one lane both directions. He answered
the phone telling me that he and Big Jim were
sailing through the mountains in his really
fast red truck.
While we were on
the phone, traffic came to a stop due to back up
at the tunnel. Being a man on the interstate,
Fred was disappointed in this. I pointed out to
him that it could be worse, he could be alone.
I suggested he take the opportunity of being
stuck in traffic to breathe deeply and pick Big
Jim's brain, after all, Big Jim sees the Bigger
Picture of everything...

As humanoids we
have to go about our days as if nothing
happened. As if we have not experienced a loss
of a loved one to death of the physical body.
But love never dies and our loved ones go with
us - traveling with us throughout our day. They
do their best to show us they're still with us -
every opportunity they get - in photographs at
home, in photographs in public, by delivering to
us a bright RED
truck!
Acknowledge
them. And they'll keep "showing" you that they
are still here!

| Angel in the Amethyst
Glenwood Springs, Colorado is
a beautiful mountain town with wonderful
surprises hidden in the shops. One of my
favorites is High Country Gems and Minerals.
They carry a wonderful variety of gems and
stones, including angels and crystals. When
Patti is working, the shop also holds a very,
very special angel that is of a magical energy -
the Angel in the Amethyst.
Mother earth gave birth to her
in an amethyst mine in Uraguay. Her journey was
one of an amethyst cluster to Colorado. When
Patti saw her, she was immediately struck by the
angel's beauty, love and magical energy. In the
sharp intake of Patti's breath, the angel came
home to her new caregiver - life with Patti.
When Patti is scheduled to
work she wraps the enchanted angel in a special
cloth of love and takes her to the gem shop to
share the angel's magical qualities and energy
with the customers who come in. Many adults and
children come into the shop to see "the angel."
Some burst into tears upon seeing her. Her
beauty is nothing short of miraculous and her
loving energy is all encompassing.
Leonardo Da Vinci wrote that
"amethyst is able to dissipate evil thoughts and
quicken the intelligence." The ancient Greeks
called the this stone amethystos which means
"not drunken" (they thought it would protect
them from drunkenness). Having seen this
beautiful magical angel myself, I feel her
energy is loving and pure - it strips away the
"drunken" energy of the physical world and
leaves you feeling "touched by the loving
hand of the Mother - Mary."
| The angel is
embedded, yet presented beautifully on a
stage of brilliantly sparkling
amethyst. My picture really doesn't do
her justice - she is so incredibly,
breathtakingly beautiful.

traveling through Glenwood Springs,
Colorado, please stop at High Country
Gems and Minerals and ask to see the
Angel in the Amethyst. Just seeing her
is a gift you won't forget!

A
Surprise Visitor: Basil
An experience
with a loved one who has transitioned. |

A few months ago my dear
friend, Liliana’s, father transitioned. When it
had been a while since he passed, she asked him
to let her know that he had transitioned OK. She
asked, “Are you alright Dadda? Please let me
know that you are all right.”
He was very creative in his response. Liliana's
story:
When I visited my
parents, my Dad (Dadda) and I would
sit on the balcony in the evenings
chatting. In the summer we would
watch the migrating bats as they
went to the fruit farms for their
evening feast. Sometimes we would
count them. There were 111 (one
hundred eleven) one evening!
It is summer here now. Just a week
or so ago, I was floating on my back
in our swimming pool. As I lay there
enjoying the sunshine, I spotted a
bat hanging upside down in one of
our beautiful palm trees. (Dad also
knows I love palms.) There the bat
was hanging by one leg only, as
awake as I was in the middle of this
bright sunny day, in a non fruit
bearing tree all alone. This
behavior for a bat is highly
unusual.
“Are you all right?” I asked him.
After watching him for what seemed
like ages, I went upstairs and got
my camera. I sat down in a good
viewing position and proceeded to
have a conversation with my new
friend, whom I named Basil. I asked
him if he was all right and why was
he only on one leg? He seemed to be
staring at me. It was then I
noticed he had green eyes, like
mine. After quite a long chat, he
climbed up the tree, with two
healthy legs.
It was then I knew he was all right.
I was so glad about that! Then he
took off in broad daylight, healthy
as you please.
Later that evening I realized that
Basil was not Basil, but my Dad,
letting me know with his green eyes
like mine, that he IS ALL RIGHT.
A few days later, I told my Dadda
that I really needed him to reassure
me about something that he had said
before he transitioned while in pain
and under drugs. Basil, the green
eyed bat brought the answer!
As I was working in my office that
evening a loud crashing noise
occurred on the roof directly above
me. The family and I rushed out to
the balcony to see what it was.
Basil had landed on our metal roof!!
Bats do not normally land on flat
surfaces as they cannot take off
again. They land only in trees.
After waiting for us to see that it
was him, he then crawled his way
across the roof to the gutter just
above where I was standing and took
off healthy as could be! Dad could
not have been clearer in
acknowledging what I had asked him.
Since Basil’s visits Dad visited in
the house in another form!
One night before sleeping, I was
chatting with him in my prayers in
the pitch black of my bedroom. I
asked him about family. I also
asked him if he could help me with
one of my human problems that has
been bothering me. Immediately my
mobile phone on the bedside table
began to flash – not ring, just
flash in the darkness. It was an
acknowledgement from my dad that he
heard me and is with me. |

Note from Kate: To many, bats
are frightening creatures. To Liliana and her
father, the evenings spent with bats were to be
treasured and remembered with great love. It
was with the energy of such love that Liliana's
Dadda showed her that he is all right...
In acknowledging these visits she has opened the
door to communicating with her dad.
