The Light of
God surrounds me,
The Love of God enfolds me,
The Power of God protects me,
The Presence of God watches over me,
Where ever I am - God is,
So be it, Amen

I love this
prayer. It brings great peace to me as if I'm
sitting in the palm of God - safe from all
physical world issues, fears and worries.
As we travel our
divine life path here in the physical world, we
often feel as though we are alone in our
journey. This simply isn't true. We are a
crowd of spirit guides, teachers, angels and
deceased loved ones. In looking within, we find
that each one of us, hold the light of God
within us. God is all around us - grass, trees,
animals - ALL. Last week, as I filled my flower
watering container, I noticed an angel
magnificently displayed in the concrete
foundation of my home. God - is, indeed,
everywhere! It is up to us to have the eyes to
see Him.
Our connection to
Spirit/Source/God is our journey.
How do we
connect?
* Through prayer
- every prayer is heard, every prayer is
answered. Our thoughts are energy, therefore,
our prayers too are energy. If we could see
them, they would be as shooting stars from us to
God.
* Through
meditation. Can't meditate? You can breathe.
Set the intention to meditate and connect with
Spirit/God/Source. Begin with a prayer that you
like. Simply sit quietly and focus on your
breathing. Acknowledge wayward thoughts as they
enter your mind - let them go and return your
focus to your breathing. Quiet yourself. Look
within to the essence of who you are - allow
yourself to see and experience the light and
love of God.
* Through
Journaling. Don't be mistaken - journaling
isn't just for teenage girls. Journaling holds
great power to release physical world
conditioning, worries and fears. It is a key
tool to loving oneself. It is also a
forgiveness tool to forgive others as well as
ourselves. If you feel silly writing to a
"journal," write to God. Set the intention to
connect with Spirit/God/Source. Begin with a
prayer. When you ask Him a question, write the
first thing that comes to you - whether it is
words you hear, a knowing in your heart or
pictures that you see. The more you practice
this, the easier it will be. Journal your
innermost feelings - you will discover who you
really are!
Ever feel
scattered - like there are pieces of you
everywhere and a wrong move could squish part of
you?
Connect with God
and you won't feel that way. It is easy for me
to say "connect with God" - it is up to each one
of you to look within to discern, discover and
define how connecting with Spirit is best
achieved for you personally.
Connecting with
God as each day begins will eliminate the
scattered-ness we humanoids feel as we
experience our days. Sharing with God our
innermost feelings will open the door to be
receptive to His help. God knows us - our true
selves - it is up to us to exercise our free
will and ask for and allow ourselves to receive
His guidance and His abundance for us. In
strengthening our connection with God, we free
ourselves of physical world conditioning, fears
and worries. In so doing, we become an example
to others - a beacon of God's love - at times,
even a catalyst for others.
In connecting
with God we acquire the Eyes to See God around
us.
We have free will
- use it wisely - for your highest good!
In love and
light,
Kate

(I had the eyes to see!!)
While filling the flowering water can I
glanced down and there in the concrete

out at the world.
