Message from Kate
The past few weeks have torn at my heart on many different levels - as a humanoid, as a spiritual being, as a mother and as an intuitive empathic.  During this time we have received BOLD, Profound messages of love from God.  On September 26, a lone perpetrator entered a safe place for our children, the Platte Canyon High School in Bailey, Colorado, and took six young ladies - students - hostage.  He let four go, but kept two.  By the time the police were able to get into the classroom where the students were held, the man shot Emily Keyes, then himself.  Emily did not survive her wounds.  The other hostage was freed unharmed. 

While being held hostage, Emily sent a text message to her family: "I luv you guys."  The family of Emily Keyes not only shared this, but asked that everyone "Practice Random Acts of Kindness" in memory of Emily.  What an amazing family!  How could anyone's life be more honored, more blessed, than Miss Emily's?

Then on October 2, a lone perpetrator invaded the sanctuary of a one room Amish school house killing five children ages 6 - 13, wounding others and killing himself.  The families of the slain children are Practicing Forgiveness for the murders as well as teaching forgiveness to the children.  Again, these children's lives are honored and blessed...

These children were each met by Master Jesus as they transitioned home.  In a breath, each child was in the arms of Jesus - safe.  Because the death of their physical bodies were violent, the stories made national headlines - because their families walk with God, they delivered God's message of love to the world.  Through Emily came the message of love, through the Amish children came the message of forgiveness - the same teachings of Jesus - Love and Forgiveness.

God's message is abundantly clear - love one another and forgive all.  If parents of children who were so cruelly ripped from their lives can love and forgive, can't we?  If we allowed ourselves to love others, to practice random acts of kindness - to forgive, would there be war?  Wouldn't the world be a better place?

Email from Michelle...

When we allow ourselves to have the "eyes to see" we will see God all around us!

I wrote to you a few weeks ago from Cancun after my daughter, Nikki and I had our adventure with the dolphin. We had an incredible trip! The angels surrounded us the entire time we were there. Of course they are always with us, but this time it felt different. I actually “felt” them with me. Probably because I was reading Doreen Virtue’s book, Goddesses and Angels while I was there and I learned how to “tune in”.

I always look for heart shaped clouds, rocks or shells when I am on a trip and this time I was abundantly blessed with them. I feel my angels connect with me through this symbol and I asked them to show me hearts. One evening while meditating on our balcony, I asked for a heart shaped cloud and looked up just in time to find it. I blinked and it was gone.

On the last day of our trip, we rented a car and drove south to Pumal and Akumal. We went snorkeling and Nikki was thrilled when she came across a three legged sea turtle while snorkeling with my husband, her “Papa.”  I walked on the beach for about 20 minutes searching for a heart shaped rock and wasn’t having any luck finding one. My husband was ready to leave and asked me to hurry. Just then I said in a firm, but loving voice, “Angels open my eyes to find the perfect heart shaped rock.”  I looked down at my feet and found... a perfect heart shaped rock.

I have embarked on this wonderful journey of enlightenment and am truly blessed every day.

Messages from Big Jim

As most of you know from reading through the Soul Kisses website, my dad transitioned home on Halloween last year.  As we near the anniversary the remnants of grief come and go.  Recently while visiting with my Protector Guide, Chief Running Bear, he asked me, "You mad at Big Jim?" (He calls my dad Big Jim)  I admitted that, yes, sometimes I am.  Then I saw my dad riding through the night sky lassoing stars together to form a huge heart of stars for me.  I didn't know my dad could lasso - on a Harley no less... How could I be mad at him after that?

In conjunction with my dad, who now goes by Big Jim, (and with my mom's approval) we will be adding Messages from Big Jim to the Soul Kisses Newsletter.  Sometimes it will be things he has done or shown me since his transition - other times we'll ask him questions and write out what he says...

This is Big Jim's Road King Harley Davidson.  I took this picture and several others the day of the funeral.  At first I thought something was on the lens of the camera - there is a white haze at the rear of the bike.  Then I noticed that they were only in the pictures I took of the bike and... the haze moved in each picture.  Daddy joined us in taking family photos of the bike.  The only retouching done to this image are at the front where I took out family members - and of course I cropped it so it would fit here.
