Are you experiencing shifts of energy that may be
challenging? A few days before July 15th a thought popped into my
head: I wondered if one became ill on the second floor of a home,
how would paramedics get a gurney up the stairs and into the room?
I thought about it, wondered, then began thinking about something else
and forgot about it.
On July 15th I attracted food poisoning.
Within just a few hours I became seriously dehydrated and passed out -
thoroughly freaking out my family. This resulted in paramedics
being called and I found out they don't use a gurney, they use a chair
that they strap you to in order to carry you down the stairs.
By the time the firemen and paramedics got me into
the ambulance, all I could do was "think" the answers to their
questions. I couldn't force my voice to move through my lips - I
couldn't even open my eyes. Immediately the tech inserted an IV, I began
to rehydrate and everything changed.
My tending paramedics name was Michael. I
asked him, "like Archangel Michael?" We immediately bonded.
Michael asked me if my name was Gustav? No... Then he asked
me if I was 60? I started laughing, no... Clearly my
entourage were exhibiting their sense of humor - I looked around and
sure enough - wall to wall angelic faces in the ambulance. I told
him I may look 60, but I'm more than 10 years away... (The firemen
gave the paramedic the wrong information sheet...)
Michael shared with me that his 23 year old
daughter has been receiving visits from her deceased grandmother in her
dreams. We shared our mutual beliefs on life after death and our
connection with Spirit. You never know when you will be divinely
guided to chat with someone...
The food poisoning was yet another "startling and
unexpected life event" my life has been blessed with. Blessed? you
may ask? Yes, there is perfection in all situations and there was
perfection in food poisoning. Earlier in the day I had been hit in
the head with a flying rock through the open window while riding in my
daughter Jesse's car. My friend Adele laughed and wanted to know
why was the universe hitting me in the head?
Why indeed!
Because Kate has been refusing to let go of fear
and her humanoid physical need to control events and situations that she
has no control over... Oy Vey!
As if being hit in the head with a ROCK wasn't
subtle enough, then I attracted food poisoning all in the same day!
The rock didn't get my attention, but the food poisoning DID!
These startling and unexpected life events are not
so subtle nudges to our spiritual awakening. We may feel as if we are
losing our connection to God. We aren't losing it, it is shifting and
evolving into "more" - it is growing and blossoming and feels different.
It is up to us - you and I to step forward without fear, with open
hearts to take in and connect more fully and completely with our God
Part within to be "one with the Universe" - "One with God." Therein,
lies the peace, the abundance, the love, the comfort we all seek.
The door opens to receive our highest good and to share that good with
others.
The energies that are flowing through Mother Earth and US are initiating
these "startling and unexpected life events" that - I don't want to say,
test us - but push us into connecting with the God Part within, thereby
bringing comfort to us in a love base. These energies are rampant
throughout the planet. Are we rolling with them and evolving or fighting
them and hanging on by an eyelash? Clearly I was fighting them -
in looking back, I see exactly where I was fighting them!
When our lives are running smoothly with no hiccups, there is no reason
to "stretch" ourselves, no reason to more fully look within and connect
with our God Part. BUT when we have an "unexpected" life event - a
challenge, do we cower in fear or do we look within and grasp the thread
to the God Part within holding firmly to it "Knowing" in
the depths of our spirit that there IS perfection in this seemingly
adverse life situation?
We MUST hold to the God Part within, knowing fully and completely that
there is perfection in this event, situation, relationship and that our
highest good is ours - we must claim it! For we are God's children and
it is our birthright. Do we have the strength? I say we do!
I've been joking that God really has been showing His love for me by
giving me so many opportunities for spiritual growth - through
"startling and unexpected" life events. From the outside world looking
in, I should be in a state of panic at these "life events" - but
instead, I feel and know I am safe in the palm of God, loved, protected
and cared for. My family has pulled together as a bonded unit and I pray
daily that I am paying attention to signs, guidance and the presence of
my entourage of angels, guides, teachers and loved ones - I certainly
don't want to be hit in the head with a rock again!
How are you fairing in this illusion of chaos the energies are
inundating us with? Are you practicing active faith in the
perfection? Are you embracing your faith, clutching your God Part
and breathing it into the very essence of your daily being? If you
are, you know the chaos dissipates and peace is yours on a calm sea.
Then you realize, you are...
Safe in the palm of God - one with the Universe,
One with God...

Message from Big Jim
As mentioned above many I have chatted
with have been deluged with
"startling and unexpected life events"
that run the full gamut of possibilities - not just me - many, many of
you. Big Jim has been trying to help in his own "special" way...
Banking: I was standing at the
counter at the bank speaking to the teller, when I noticed him leaning
on the counter. He told me everything is fine - not that
everything will be alright, but that it IS. Of course, I'm
grateful to "hear" that, but can't respond verbally due to causing a
ruckus at the bank...
Walking Majik Poodle: I was walking
young Majik when Big Jim roared up on his Harley and asked me, "hey,
cutie, would you like a ride?" Quite the sense of humor...
The answer was, "yes, but I really need to stay here in my physical
body, Majik is counting on me giving him a drink when we get home..."
Of course I totally cracked up at both his
"appearances". The question is, how many times has he tried to
"comfort me" and I was so wrapped up in the physical world that I
ignored him. Oh, I just heard the answer is "a whole bunch" of
times.
Sorry, daddy...
No matter what is going on in our lives, they are
with us. Celebrating the good, embracing us, supporting and
comforting us during the challenging moments. Always, always,
there - here... with us... right here, right now.
Jesse was experiencing some challenges last week.
I saw Big Jim "appear" and hug her gently with great care and love to
comfort her. She responded and was strong.
The love we experience in this human existence is
so very powerful. What if we could harness it to power our
vehicles? Warm our homes in winter and cool them in summer?
Quite the concept isn't it? Someone somewhere is probably working
on this as I type.... But I digress...
Know that during moments of "startling and
unexpected life events" your entourage is there with you, whether you
see them or feel them or not, they are there. Always with you,
loving you, comforting you and sending you guidance as best they can.
Acknowledge them - your mind will clear to understand the guidance.
May you be profoundly blessed in this moment and
in every moment after...
