Healing and Reconnecting with Your Authentic Self Part I

Before we incarnate to Mother Earth our spirit resides in the angelic realm - an idyllic space of unconditional love that far exceeds human interpretation.  We are love, light and infinite possibility!

Then many of us volunteer to house our spirit in a physical body to experience the duality of the earth plain.  Before incarnating we choose events and situations to experience that will fulfill our need for healing and reconnecting with the essence of who we are - our Authentic Self. 

Our Authentic Self is the essence of unconditional love.  In reconnecting "As One" with our Authentic Self we open the door to attracting into our reality all that resides in our Field of Potentiality.  We step into the flow of love bringing Heaven to Earth.

Each one of us is a limitless spiritual being that can truly be, do and have anything our heart desires.  The physical world does not teach this.  The physical world teaches us that we are limited, worthless and undeserving of the things that make our hearts sing with joy.

I've written often of releasing fear, experiencing a growth spurt and finding yet more fear to release.  In the past six months I've been working diligently to transmute deeply suppressed fears to love in order to reconnect on a deeper level with my Authentic Self. In May and June I worked with Jennifer Hoffman in her Miracle Coaching program and made huge strides in dissolving fear. The support Jennifer gave me magnified my intentions of healing and releasing fear through the power of our union of two.

Throughout the program I kept getting messages from my guides to step out of my comfort zone and offer my work at a higher level of service, but a hidden, yet tangible fear held me back. They kept telling me that all would be revealed to me if I would just offer another in person class or workshop. 

Big Jim came to me and strongly suggested to me to offer the Orb Photographs Validated workshop. I've offered other workshops and teleclasses, but I still felt an uneasiness and fear in public speaking. I knew it was time to trust him and my guides so I scheduled the date. Moments before the first participant arrived I felt a waive of anxiety wash over me.  I immediately asked my angels to help me and they arrived in full force to help me relax. The workshop was a wonderful event filled with information, fun and laughter!

The next morning so much of my deep inner fear had healed and released that I felt as if I had removed a physical cloak, like a skin.  I felt so new, fresh and alive that if my ankle hadn't hurt so much I would have been checking the mirror to make sure I was still in the same body!

I had worked through and healed a huge weight of fear. A few days later my guides showed me where the fear originated...

When I was four I was diagnosed with Parry Romberg's Disease. This disease wastes away the fatty tissue of the body and usually affects the face.  It affected the left side of my face leaving thin skin stretched over the bone so that the left side looked skeletal.  Even at a young age I knew that in a world of physical beauty this wasn't normal or attractive.

In my sixth grade year I had a crush on a boy in my grade. I thought he was cuter than cute and wanted so very much for him to like me. The school I attended was very small with less than a hundred students per grade.  Everyone knew everything about everybody, so it didn't take him long to hear of my feelings.

One day as I stood in front of the school with my "friends" this boy came over to me with his friends and loudly told me that I was "uglier than the south bound end of a north bound mule." 

There I stood.  All eyes on me.  The center of everyone's attention.

Noone said a word - it was my bursting into tears that broke the silence.  Needless to say I was humiliated, horrified and crushed beyond measure.  Then the bell rang and we all went into class.  My teacher wanted to know why I was crying. For whatever reason my best friend didn't feel the reason warranted telling the teacher quietly.  Instead she announced to the teacher and the rest of the class what had been said to me outside.  In so doing she gave me the opportunity to experience yet another painful waive of humiliation in front of still more people.

My mom had to come get me because I couldn't stop crying. Then I had to see the counselor at the school.  My "little girl mind" felt that he thought I was crazy.  The counselor gave me a mantra to say to myself in front of the mirror, "Every day in every way I'm a better person."  Saying this into the mirror only made it worse because I associated the words with "being crazy." 

Then I got angry. How dare this boy take my power away! For years I remembered this incident as "the day my life ended."  Then I realized it was the day my life began because  I vowed that I would survive life no matter what it threw at me! In time I forgave him and I realized I had given my power to him. What I didn't know how to do was dissipate the fear of all eyes on me, the center of attention. Instead I suppressed it to the point that all I felt was the fear and did not remember the reason for it.

In the bigger picture of life on planet earth this was a tiny incident, but for me it was huge. The fear I suppressed has held me back from many, many things in my life and now I have shed its heavy cloak and I am f*r*e*e to connect fully with my Authentic Self moving forward in joy of knowing from deep within me that I can truly be, do and have all that I desire.  The world is at my feet waiting for me to set my intention of this moment and bring to fruition all the love and light that I am - my heaven on earth...

I share this with you without pain of this event, only joy at having finally dissolved it forever!  Each one of us has our own "incident of historic pain." Don't let yours hold you captive for 40 years!

Are you feeling a nudge within you to step outside your comfort zone?  Are your angels whispering guidance to you to reveal your passion and joy to you while you sleep? Do you feel you are on the cusp of opening the door to releasing your true magnificence??

I encourage you to ask your angels to guide you and help you to release suppressed fears so that you may connect with your Authentic Self.  You may be guided to reach out to a friend, participate in a class or workshop, pick up a book at the bookstore, look for a new job, tell someone you are sorry for an incident or forgive someone. Please, follow their guidance and trust that as you lift your wings to soar they will fly with you, your crowd of loving beings of light...

Remember you are a magnificent, limitless spiritual being with the world at your feet - claim it!

Oh yes, a couple of years after we graduated from high school I ran into the boy whose words held me hostage for so long and he apologized.  He was one of the first people I added to the Pray it Forward Prayer List...
