Blessings to you!
Marie L. wrote to me and asked me, "Why does God
answer some people and not others?"
This was my answer:
"I believe God always answers. It is up to us to
have the "ears to hear" "the eyes to see" and allow ourselves to have
the "wisdom of knowing" within. I believe the learning of allowing
ourselves to be open to these things is a journey. Some people open to
it more easily than others. It took me a LONG time to figure it out - I
struggled for years and years on my own - thinking I was working with
God, but in reality I was fighting against everything God was showing
me. Other people that I know have memories from as young as four
connecting with the spirit realm and with God.
The hard part is the trust in ourselves, our God Part within, to know
that God is guiding us. We must discern what information is of a
higher power essence and what is of our own ego and/or negative
influences around us.
Some times the answers that God gives are NOT the ones we wish to
receive. There are times that life appears to be in chaos, when in
actuality everything is in divine order and there is perfection in all
life situations. This is not easy to get one's mind around - perfection
in all life situations.
We struggle with concepts that are foreign to us
because we are taught that there is a beginning and an end to
everything. I believe that is why we are so devastated when a
loved one dies - because in our minds, they are ending. When the reality
is that they are fine, they are simply in another life form - in spirit.
Each of us must get out of our own way and discover what works for us as
a method of looking within - of connecting with the God Part within us.
When we master that we will find answers, peace and fulfillment not to
mention the guidance that we so desperately seek."

From Big Jim
On November 25, 2008 I took this photograph in my
living room:
I sat with the orb photo and asked who it was and
what it meant. I added the information to the
Orbs with Faces
page on the Soul Kisses website.
I have been profoundly blessed to receive a
photograph of Big Jim that validates that it is his face smiling in the
orb. The photo was taken when he was a young man - of course he is
sitting on a motorcycle:
A Message from Big Jim...
You know all things happen for a reason and all
things are in divine order. It's hard to get one's mind around
that... all things being in divine order.
Yes, that is I in the orb and the photograph.
You people will be seeing a lot more of us in
the photos - we of the spirit world. Hold on to the comfort that
it gives you to know that you aren't alone in the physical world that
sometimes appears to run on chaos. Don't let the "orbs" freak you
out - I know some people tend to want to do that - get scared or perhaps
the politically correct version is to negate that there is anything
there.
Remember... negating something doesn't change a
thing...
Hold on with both hands to what you are
grateful for and you'll rule the reality of your world in joy and
gratitude.
