Happy New Year! We've had a few weeks now
to move into this deliciously exciting New Year
of 2007. With the ending and washing away of
the old year, new thoughts of creativity, divine
inspiration and renewal are wakened. For me, I
feel this year will hold clarity of vision and
understanding - it is a year of "doing" and
"being" - of truly experiencing the moments of
my life with God - instead of unconsciously
living caught up in the "every day to do list"
without God. This year I will "experience" as
much of the All that God IS that my human
form can take in - the excitement builds!
I welcome YOU
to join me!!
I've had the
golden opportunity to be working on a new
ecourse based on the book "The Game of Life
and How to Play it" by Florence Scovel
Shinn. For those of you who have read this
book, you know it is profoundly empowering and a
true definition of "excitement." Every time the
book is picked up something new is
learned/remembered/understood because we are at
a higher level of understanding than we were the
last time we read it. Even more delightful...
Florence has been helping me!
In working on the
ecourse I've been looking intently within and am
discovering I still have a lot of work to do to
be Who I Truly Want to Be. The question is,
what do I need to do and how do I need to do it
to Be the person I Truly Want to Be? During a
discussion with God about this, I used the
following affirmation: I am compassionate.
This resonated within me. Then I used the
affirmation: I am strong. This too,
resonated within me. Then these other
affirmations moved from my thoughts to my lips:
I am Powerful. I Am Success. I AM
PROSPERITY...
As I said the
affirmations out loud, they began to build in
intensity, began to resonate from deep within me
to each cell of my being until I truly,
completely felt: Powerful, Success and
Prosperity.
I felt within me
a change taking place - an exciting change - a
change of thinking and more importantly -
fulfilled, complete B-e-l-i-e-f!
Our thinking,
words and beliefs create our reality. What is
your reality? Could it be better? Would you
like to change it? Are you Who You Truly Want
to Be? Do you feel within you the
possibilities, the limitless possibilities, of
this New Year of 2007? Below are several
affirmations. Read through them. Pick out the
ones that resonate within you and write them
down on sticky notes and put them all over your
house. "Use them" every chance you
get. Change the negative thought patterns and
beliefs - change them to BE who YOU Want to Be!
New, exciting doors of possibilities and
opportunities will open for you!

of the words are Synonyms of
others, one will resonate within
us, while the other does not.
Choose the affirmations that
resonate within you and use
them! Use them daily,
several times a day for at least
a month and watch the miracles
unfold in your life
May each of you
reading this be profoundly blessed in this
moment and in every moment after...

physical world resources. It is

Message
from Big Jim
When a loved one
transitions, the physical world teaches us that
that is it. They're gone. Spiritually we learn
that this isn't true. That our loved ones are
still with us, although they are no longer in
physical form... for Love Never Dies and the
love connection will forever keep us close. Of
course communicating as a human to spirit can be
challenging... but it can be done. To do this,
we must keep our "logical minds" from
interfering.

Two
weeks before Christmas, Majik and I
were home alone making cinnamon
rolls. I was working away rolling
out the rolls when I noticed my dad
was there. He was leaning against
the counter, ankles crossed, arms
across his chest, leaning, smiling
and talking to me. I could see him
in my minds eye - not from across
the room, so my physical world self
questioned, "is he really here?"
Something was said about my mom and
I told him she was making her
famous, most delicious Chocolate
Chip cookies for my sister-in-law to
take to some kind of function. He
agreed, yes, and Brenda, the
sister-in-law, made Mom mad. Of
course I stopped what I was doing
and asked, "Brenda made Mom mad?"
He started laughing and confirmed,
that yes she had. (Daddy always had
quite the sense of humor when it
came to two females.)
I
didn't ask what happened, but made a
note to ask my mom about it when I
talked to her. Then I pretty much
went on about my business of baking
the rolls and wandering around.
Daddy started laughing and pointed
out to me that it was hard for me to
focus on our conversation. In my
mind I was thinking, I'm not sure
you're really here...
We
ended up in the living room watching
TV for awhile, then he left. All
the time, my spiritual side was
saying, "Hey, your dad is sitting
over there in Fred's chair watching
TV with you, don't you have anything
to say or ask him???" While my
physical world side was telling me
it was my imagination...
The
next day, I called my mom and asked
her how the cookie delivery went.
She started telling me about how
Brenda made her mad... Holy McMoly...
I started laughing... what a
validation that my dad really
was in my kitchen leaning on
the counter talking to me the day
before!
As
love would have it, my dad came back
that afternoon and went with me to
pick Fred up at the airport in the
truck. I told him I'd try not to
scare him since I don't drive Fred's
truck very well. He told me nothing
much scares him anymore... He
cracks me up... This time I took
full advantage of his presence and
asked him questions daughters have
when they need advice from their
dads - and he answered them.
(Mom got over
being mad at Brenda.) |
When a loved one
has transitioned, their love binds you together
forever. They are as close as a thought.
Release expectations of how they will let you
know and just watch, listen, and allow yourself
to feel them - you will. My experience has been
that the loved one has connected with me within
hours of their transition. Some people will
tell you this isn't possible. I never believed
that. I didn't put restrictions or limits on
what they could or would do, so my loved ones
never waited to contact me.
As in the story I
shared here, even I have issues with my physical
world self telling my spiritual self that "this
isn't happening" - and it is. Allow the love
you have for the person who has transitioned to
lead you. Ask for validation. They're only too
happy to give it. Know that no matter what else
happens... Love Never Dies...

God in
Glenwood Canyon...
To
celebrate New Years, Fred and I took the
train from Denver to Glenwood Springs.
What a fabulous trip! The terrain
throughout the trip was truly
beautiful. Denver, Colorado has
received feet of snow in the past six
weeks so a winter wonderland was visible
from all windows of the train. I asked
the angels to show me the stories of the
land as we traveled. They entertained
me with incredible images in the rocks
and scenery. The train was stopped when
I clearly saw the image of a cat in the
rock. Fred wanted to know why the cat
only has one eye.
I asked,
and Chief Running Bear replied: "Cat
only need one eye for clear vision -
third eye." |

Book Review
Conversations With God Book One, by Neale
Donald Walsch
"When the
student is ready, the teacher appears."
This is true for me in reading Conversations
With God. I found so many things I believe, to
be spelled out. I also found clarification of
things I was not quite sure about. Neale asks
God a question and God answers it - clear, plain
and simple. They discuss the things we are all
concerned about, such as health, finances, work,
relationships as well as the state the world is
in. God uses twenty-first century terminology,
so understanding is relatively simple. However,
as in anything you read, hear or see, look
within to discern what is true for you.
